Bernie Parents Daughter Exposes Him on Social Media: Releases Huge Statement..

Bernie Parent Is a living legend on the ice and is a well known hall of fame goaltender, but as with anybody there is always personal life issues.. Saturday, August sixth Parent's daughter released the following statement via Instagram:

I've been waiting a while to tell our story and I feel like it's time. My grandfather, Bernie Parent, is a living legend to most of you. To me, he was my hero, best friend,
role model, father, etc. a few years ago he met his wife, Gini, and that is when my entire life flipped upside down.

I lost the man that I looked up to and thought of as the most important person in my life. He lost the flyers, his best friends, and his family. She stripped everything from us besides the last name "Parent". I have been fighting the urge to post something, but my life has been ruined for 5+ years.

I never had a father figure and my poppop was the most important
human in my life and we lost him the second Gini came in. My mother, uncle, me lost a part of ourselves I never knew possible. My little brother never even got to know his Grandfather. I always defended him, but as I grow older I
know it takes two people to make a decision.


The fact is, he chose Gin over the people who have loved him endlessly. God, my heart has been shattered for years. I keep
pretending like he passed away, because that's easier to
cope with than knowing he walked away from our entire
family. I have cried more times over the loss of my poppop
than I have over anything. Nothing will ever make sense, but I
finally was ready to tell our story.
