The 2025/26 NHL regular season has just taken off, with the Chicago Blackhawks completing their second game of the year Thursday, October 9.
However, rumors and speculations have already surfaced regarding Connor Bedard being on track to losing the spotlight.
This is due to the fact that 21-year-old forward
Frank Nazar has been showing immense promise.
During the Blackhawks' preseason, Nazar made his presence known, as he scored several points within a very short span of time.
And now, two games into the season, this forward has continued his streak of impactful plays and recorded some incredible points.

Frank Nazar got off to a brilliant start in the Chicago Blackhawks' season opener against the Florida Panthers, as he scored one goal and had one assist.
He then followed that with another assist in the second game of the Hawks' regular season against the Boston Bruins.
While it is still very early in the season, this second-year center is leading his organization in points.
Will Nazar steal the spotlight from Bedard?
While it is hard to tell so early, Connor Bedard did in fact leave the season opener with no points.
Bedard only got on the board for the Blackhawks with a goal and an assist in the second game.
One thing that
Chicago Blackhawks fans should be excited for is that these two appear to be set to push one another to succeed and get better.
