Connor Bedard sends an uncensored warning to opponents facing the Chicago Blackhawks this season
After an action-packed game against the Boston Bruins, Connor Bedard sent a warning to teams facing the Chicago Blackhawks this season: they won't go down without a fight.
The Blackhawks may be the third-youngest team in the NHL, but they mustn't be taken lightly by their opponents.
That's what they showed last night against the Boston Bruins.
Connor Bedard notably showed that he can bring that to his game on a few distinct moments last night.
Connor Bedard Shows Physicality In Loss To Bruins And Warns Other NHL Teams
Connor Bedard isn't the tallest or the heaviest, but what he brought last night was a great sight for Hawks fans who once doubted his ability to get involved physically.
First, he drew a penalty on Bruins defenseman
Charlie McAvoy following an altercation:
He also laid a solid hit on Bruins young player
Fraser Minten, who scored the overtime goal later in the evening:
After the game, Bedard opened up about his team's philosophy, saying that the players stand up for one another and won't be pushed around by bigger teams:
"I like how we stood up for each other. [We're] not going to take any sh*t, even if they're a little bigger."

In addition to all this, Bedard also scored a spectacular goal, with a powerful shot at five-on-five to tie the game at one in the first period.
The player also opened up about being on a line with
Andre Burakovsky, how he makes Bedard better with his ability to control the rhythm of the game, and the way he competes.
"He looked great. He's such a smart player. He's someone who can make plays and slow the game down, speed it up. Just someone who makes the game real easy for guys he's playing with, just the way he thinks the game, how he competes. It's been awesome for our team getting a guy like that. He's going to be big for us."
