It was revealed yesterday that the Columbus Blue Jackets intend to live stream a memorial service for the late Johnny Gaudreau along with his brother Matthew.
The NHL organization has been inundated with support by the hockey world and other sporting leagues as everyone continues to be in shock over these two tragic deaths. Due to the overwhelming support, the team announced that they will live stream the event so that hockey fans around the globe can watch and support the Gaudreau families.
The team also announced that the service will take place on Monday September 9th at 12:00 PM eastern which will be live streamed on www.nhl.com/bluejackets
Over the past several days, thousands of fans have been making their way to the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary and to Nationwide Arena in Columbus to stand with candle vigils to honor both brothers and their families.
We would like to extend our sympathies and support to the Gaudreau families, the Columbus Blue Jackets and their fan base and the rest of the NHL as we all continue to mourn these two great men.
