After the game, Connor Bedard sent a big message to his team, their fans, and management.
Connor Bedard Wants To Win Now
Last night, he recorded three assists, including two spectacular ones that highlighted his elite playmaking skills:
Following the Hawks' second win of the season, Bedard didn't shy away from speaking his mind about the direction of the team in an interview.
He stated that he wants to win now, not in three years, and that the team is on the right path. Now, they must stick to what they are to keep building the foundations of a championship-worthy team.
"We want to win. We don't want to win in three years. We want to win now, and you know, we just got to work hard and play our game and not kind of deviate from that. You know, you win some, you lose some, but if we stick to what we are, then I think we'll be good."
Bedard and the Hawks will be back on the ice to face his hometown team, the Vancouver Canucks.
