The Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has had a very active summer. After trading away two of their bright young stars in Alex DeBrincat and Kirby Dach at the draft, today the Blackhawks announced two signings.
The Blackhawks have resigned forward Philipp Kurashev to a one-year $750,000 contract.
Kurashev was drafted by the Blackhawks in the 2018 NHL draft in the fourth round, 120th overall. The 22 year old had 6 goals, and 15 assists in 67 games last season.
The Blackhawks also have signed defenseman Caleb Jones to a one year $1,350,000 contract.
Jones came over to the Blackhawks in a trade with the Edmonton involving Duncan Keith.
Jones had 5 goals and 10 assists in 51 games last season.
