NHL Confirms Loss of $80 Million Over 2018 Lawsuit
Back in 2018, the NHL was sued by 318 players in a lawsuit that was brought about by concussions.
The NHL spent nearly $100 million to help defend their name and identity in the lawsuit.
Thanks to a recent post from Rick Westhead, we have now learned that just $20 million of the $100 million has been insured.
The NHL successfully defended their identity in this lawsuit, but are still waiting for a lot of money to be returned to them.
