This Blackhawks Enforcer is A Bad Bad Man
It's Sunday and we're going to Church of the Enforcer, a bygone era of the NHL where the code still mattered, and the tilts were always epic.
A league where Bob Probert ran things, in the 90s but these two fighters aren't Probert or McSorley.
It's a Sunday where we're going to revisit a bout in April 1997 as the Blackhawks' Jim Cummins fought the Dallas Stars Grant Marshall.
holy smokes this #HFTop100 tilts of ALL TIME (based on user votes)

is indeed a donnybrook
This fight is unsurprisingly in the top 100 fights on HockeyFights.com, as Jim Cummins and Grant Marshall embodied the term gladiators in this bout.
At about 7 seconds into the video, you see the two hammering each other in the face, dropping bombs. Marshall easily dominates early in the fight, as the majority of his punches landed on Cummins, while Cummins would return bombs in kind.
However, the bout while only 17 seconds, was explosive and both fighters did their best to end the other.
The punishment dealt to one another, is just amazing.
What a Donnybrook.
