Top 10 Chicago Blackhawks officially ranked 1-10 by EA Sports NHL 26 video game

In rebuilding teams, developing players are often underestimated by the rest of the league. But finishing at the bottom of the standings for multiple straight years comes with high draft picks, and there are usually some very talented players who could have a breakout season in the NHL at any time.

As of now, it hasn't really happened in Chicago for the current core, but there's a general belief in Chicago that the team will start to win a few more games next season.

However, some need to see it to believe it.

Connor Bedard is undoubtedly the best player in Chicago. He was recognized as such by EA, but an 88 overall rating shows he still has a lot to prove.

He is by far the best player on the team according to EA, with Alex Vlasic, Ryan Donato, and Teuvo Teravainen as runner-ups, with 84 ratings.

Connor Murphy, Spencer Knight, Frank Nazar, Jason Dickinson, Nick Foligno and Tyler Bertuzzi complete the top 10.

Of course, these are prone to adjustments over the course of the season. When players perform over expectations, EA often increases their ratings.

For example, if Nazar has a breakout season, or Spencer Knight manages to carry the team between the pipes, it would be surprising to see them remaining at 82 and 83.

The game will come out on September 12th, and will include notable changes to the franchise such as a revamped Be A Pro mode, new X-Factors, improved goaltending, as well as the new HUT Seasons.
