Current Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno sent a clear message of how the Blackhawks, including Connor Bedard, need to be thinking, as they still have yet to win a game.
The Blackhawks still don't have a win yet in the new year following their heartbreaker of a 3-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens in
their home opener Saturday at United Center.
The Blackhawks and Canadiens appeared to be headed to overtime before the GWG was scored with just seconds left before the final horn blew.
At 0-2-1, the Blackhawks are in last place in the Central Division, a situation they're used to.

sent a clear message of how the Blackhawks, including Connor Bedard, need to be thinking.
The mindset in here has to be: 'Be comfortable in uncomfortable situations'. We're going to be in a lot of these games this year. We're going to have to find a way to have our details [to] allow us to get the win [and] not have it go the other way.
It's up to Bedard and the Blackhawks to find solutions to stop their losing streak.
It's a critical year for Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks
The Blackhawks, who haven't made the playoffs since 2020, made numerous changes during the summer.
Chicago is likely grooming Bedard for a leadership role with the Blackhawks at some point in the future, which could eventually see him even be named the new captain at some point in his career.
The Blackhawks also have to start showing improvement, as Bedard is in the last year of his contract and could be intrigued by other offers on the UFA market if he wanted to see what his options are.
