Ahead of Jonathan Toews' return to the United Center in just a few weeks, the longtime veteran forward has taken the monkey off of his back by earning his first point since being back in the NHL.

It's a surprising twist for Toews, who has already faced an injury 'tweak' and multiple shaky showing in his return to the NHL early on.
Jonathan Toews has now earned his first point as a member of the Jets organization just a few days after his shaky game in Winnipeg's home opener.
"Jonathan Toews has his first NHL point since April of 2023."
Toews, 37, is suiting up in the NHL once again after undergoing a 'healing journey' in India that brought his health back to peak shape.

Jonathan Toews faced adversity in NHL return

Before suiting up in a regular season game for Winnipeg, Toews was placed on injury reserve after he reportedly tweaked something during the NHL preseason.
Thankfully for Toews, and the Winnipeg Jets, who signed him to a one-year-deal this summer, his health seems to be back in full form after a little injury scare prior to the season starting.
