Canadiens fan base goes after Connor Bedard after lip reader reveals what he really said to Josh Anderson
Montreal Canadiens fans are going after Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard after he got involved in a scrum against Montreal's Josh Anderson on Saturday at the United Center.
The Chicago Blackhawks are still winless through the first 3 games of the new year following their 3-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens in the home opener at United Center on Saturday.
Kaiden Guhle's deflection goal with 15 seconds left in the 3rd period broke a 2-2 tie and prevented the Blackhawks from the finish they wanted.
But there was an incident that took place during the game involving Chicago's Connor Bedard and Montreal's Josh Anderson; they were pushing and shoving each other, and Bedard soon skated away but kept mouthing off in Anderson's direction.
You're tough, you're f***ing tough.
Many Canadiens fans used that opportunity to mock Bedard for not trying to drop the gloves against Anderson and instead choosing to skate away.
Bedard did score for the Blackhawks during the game, his 2nd goal of the year.
The Blackhawks lost in a heartbreaker to the Canadiens
The Blackhawks are still winless under new head coach Jeff Blashill, who took over from Anders Sorenson on a full-time basis.
The good news is that they've played well for the most part and that each of their losses has just been by a goal.
They would have picked up a point in the standings had it not been for Guhle's deflection goal past
Spencer Knight in the waning seconds of the game.
