NHL insider may have just leaked the next head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks and it's surprising

The Blackhawks are officially entering off-season mode following a two-goal performance by Connor Bedard which lead them to a 4-3 overtime win against the Ottawa Senators, in what would be their 82nd and final game of the season.

In order to get back to their rich-winning ways, there are several areas to address in the lineup.

But according to comments made by general manager Kyle Davidson, there is an off-ice move needing to be made before getting the ball rolling, and an NHL insider just unveiled major news on who that may involve.

Since the Blackhawks' decision to part ways with head coach Luke Richardson earlier in the season, Rockford IceHogs AHL coach Anders Sorensen has served as the team's interim while they search for their next bench boss.

DailyFaceoff's NHL insider Frank Seravalli took to a televised broadcast with the Chicago Sports Network to unveil that there is one specific name the organization is looking to bring in, and that is 2x NCAA National Champion and back-to-back World Juniors Gold Medalist David Carle.

Carle, from Denver University, has incredible success and one of the most well-built resumes out of any free agent coach on the market.

Insider Elliotte Friedman also confirmed in a report in early April that the believes the Blackhawks have discussed a job opportunity with Carle.

Carle has a deep connection built with players in the system already, and the Blackhawks recently completed a move and signed Aidan Thompson to his entry-level contract, who was coached by Carle at the University of Denver.

To further the connection with the Blackhawks, Carle has coached Blackhawks own Frank Nazar, Oliver Moore and various other names as well.
