Unusual scene involving Connor Bedard after season closing game highlights trade rumors with the Blackhawks
In what has been another rough season for the Chicago Blackhawks, it has seemingly shown great promise towards the end of it.
It all started with a playoff-atmosphere type game at the Bell Centre, which resulted in a
shootout win against the Montreal Canadiens, who were in dire need of a win to punch their ticket to the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The following day Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks continued their Canadian road trip to the Nations Capitals where they delivered a defeat to another playoff contending team, the
Ottawa Senators.
Things have not been all rainbows and sunshine all season long, the Blackhawks finished the year with a goal differential of -70 and the second-worst record in the NHL.
The dwelling losses that quickly racked up since opening night sparked large frustrations
trade reports involving 19-year old Connor Bedard, who received back-to-back 10-minute misconducts in the month of March for the first time in his career.
With a handful of outbursts and a stick-smashing incident we've seen from Bedard in the midst of this disappointing past season, we witnessed something we have yet to see involving the former first overall pick.
Lots of excitement, emotion, and even a rare smile, which caught Blackhawks fans off guard.
