The Chicago Blackhawks have been dealt several setbacks in this losing-packed season, including injuries of key players, and it appears another player will be missing some time.
The 29-year old forward drew back in the lineup on March 10, over one month after his ankle injury, and has not registered a single point in six games since returning, a complete fall-off from his last season with the Chicago Blackhawks.
With the Blackhawks eliminated from playoff contention and not much to play for in the remaining 11 games of the season, Dickinson is expected to start his off-season early and begin recovery immediately.
