Chicago Blackhawks complete lineup reconstruction before Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins
The Chicago Blackhawks are already making a lineup change after their 3-2 loss to the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Tuesday before their game vs. the Bruins.
The Chicago Blackhawks didn't come out successful in their 1st game of the year on Tuesday, losing 3-2 to the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.
They also had to watch the Panthers raise their Stanley Cup banner before the game in what was Jeff Blashill's 1st official game as head coach.
Blashill is now making a lineup change for the Blackhawks' 2nd game of the year, which is Thursday against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.
It has been confirmed that
Arvid Soderblom will get the start in net, replacing
Spencer Knight after what was a great performance against the Panthers, his former team.
Per Blackhawks analyst Ben Pope, Chicago will go with these lines:
Dach-Bedard-Burakovsky
Teravainen-Nazar-Bertuzzi
Donato-Dickinson-Mikheyev
Foligno-Greene-Lafferty
Vlasic-Rinzel
Kaiser-Levshunov
Grzelcyk-Murphy
The Blackhawks lost 3-2 to the Panthers in the season opener
Even though the Blackhawks didn't pick up any points, Knight made 34 saves against his old team, who traded him to Chicago last year in the
Seth Jones deal.
Knight most likely will be named the starter for Chicago's hope opener against the Montreal Canadiens later this week.
