Connor Bedard is making waves in the hockey world once again, but this time it's not for the right reasons following a call out by a former Stanley Cup Champion.

Former NHL defenseman Mike Commodore who played over 480 career games may not have much room to speak himself with his 23-career goals, as that's just a seasons worth for 19-year old phenom Connor Bedard.
But he certainly does not shy away from calling out underperforming players, as his post-retirement gig seems to be dishing out chirps on social media.
This time, he has decided to dig into 19-year old Connor Bedard who currently has the worst plus-minus differential when on the ice than anybody in the entire NHL amongst 1,078 active skaters.
It's dreadful, but certainly not as bad as his negative -44 rookie season in 2023.
After a video surfaced of Bedard disrespecting Ovechkin following his historic goal #894, Commodore certainly felt the need to humble the sophomore.
FolksNHL Masters leaderboard updatea Sunday for the ages!! So much going on and only a handful of holes leftBedard on top by 1..looking to win TheGreenJacket in his sophomore season..but the story here is Lohrei..he was 21 back 10 holes ago..now only 1 back!! Incredible!!!
Alongside Bedard is his teammate Tyler Bertuzzi, who also holds a league-worst plus/minus in second place, who is -38.
Despite the criticism, Bedard's receiving recognition from the NHL for his accomplishments in his sophomore season, like the chances of joining Chicago Blackhawks legends Eddie Olczyk and Patrick Kane.
He has recorded 39 assists in 75 games this season and can become the third teenager in Blackhawks history with 40 assists in a season, joining Patrick Kane (51A in 2007-08) and Eddie Olczyk (50A in 1985-86).

Although Bedard's had a solid season production wise, he and his struggling Blackhawks team are surely counting the days for this 2024-25 season to be over.
