Blackhawks' Connor Bedard's facing backlash after severe disrespectful act towards Alex Ovechkin

During Friday nights matchup between the Washington Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks we witnessed history, Alex Ovechkin's 894th career goal which tied the NHL record, but fans are now pointing fingers towards Connor Bedard for his lack of respect during the celebration.
Capitals' Alex Ovechkin has cemented his name in the history books on Friday night and ultimately deserves all the respect in the world for his achievement, but Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard may think otherwise.
There has been rumored attitude issues with the former first overall pick, and just recently a call-out from Jeremy Roenick highlighted them.
Bedard reportedly refused to go up to Blackhawks legends who shook the rest of the teams hands before their outdoor game.
There needs to be respect in the game and there needs to be respect for the history of the game. Roenick said. But there's one player that didn't come up to me, Chelly, or Savvy, and that was the superstar of the Chicago Blackhawks. That's Connor Bedard.
Bedard shows low respect for Ovechkin after scoring goal 894
The 19-year old is back in the media and is trending for the wrong reasons, and it's for alleged disrespect towards the 'Great 8' Ovechkin.
Bedard showed zero care when his Blackhawks team decided to shake Ovechkin's hand after scoring goal 894, and fans aren't letting this one go.
Hundreds of comments now flood the internet, and it's not a good look for Bedard, who has already faced allegations of attitude problems.
