Connor Bedard surpassed Jonathan Toews in an impressive career milestone in Wednesday night's game against the St. Louis Blues.

The Chicago Blackhawks surprised the St. Louis Blues and the rest of the hockey world by beating Jim Montgomery's team 8 to 3.
This was the first time since 2022 that the Blackhawks scored eight goals in a game, but it also marked a new milestone for Connor Bedard.
The 2023 first overall pick scored three assists, surpassing Jonathan Toews in an impressive category.

Connor Bedard Scores Three Points To Surpass Jonathan Toews In A Precise Category

Jonathan Toews was one of the last icons of the Blackhawks, bringing three Stanley Cups to Chicago between 2010 and 2015.
He had an amazing career with the Blackhawks, and now another player is on his way to reach his level: Connor Bedard.
Last night, with a three-point tally, he surpassed Toews for the most three-point games before reaching 21 years old, with his 10th. Only Denis Savard, Patrick Kane, Jeremy Roenick, and Bobby Hull had more.
Per NHL.com:
"Connor Bedard (0-3-3) posted his 10th career three-point game and passed Jonathan Toews (9) for the fifth most by a Blackhawks skater before age 21. He trails Denis Savard (15), Patrick Kane (13), Jeremy Roenick (13), and Bobby Hull (11)."

This was also Bedard's third three-assist game before 21, with only Denis Savard, Eddie Olczyk, and Stan Mikita having reached that mark in Blackhawks history:
"Connor Bedard (0-3-3) recorded his third career three-assist game. Only three other Blackhawks skaters have as many before age 21: Denis Savard (9), Eddie Olczyk (4), and Stan Mikita (3)."
Fans are eager to see what milestone Bedard will reach next. At his age, it wouldn't be surprising to see his name all over the franchise's record book in the coming years.
