Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard gets ruthlessy roasted NHL analyst on Hockey Night in Canada

The Chicago Blackhawks' superstar, Connor Bedard, was catching strays on Saturday night, April 5, doing so in absolutely no fault of his own as NHL reporter, Kevin Bieksa, on Hockey Night in Canada evidently rostered the 19-year old.
During Saturday night's pregame broadcast for the upcoming matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers, the host of Hockey Night in Canada, Ron MacLean, made a comment that would later give reporter Kieksa ammo to make a remark to Blackhawks' Bedard.
In the midst of the broadcast, MacLean briefly mentioned the infamous golfing 'Green Jacket' during a panel segment. Although his statement was a throwaway comment, the former National Hockey League star, Bieksa, would later share some details about the NHL's own version of 'Green Jacket', elaborating that the leagues version of this saying is awarded to the player who has the worst plus-minus rating in the NHL.
A sign that the player given this award will be going golfing due to his poor performance during the regular season.
"We say the Green Jacket in the NHL is the worse plus minus at the end of the year," revealed Bieksa.
The former NHL player would then go to reveal there are a few young talents in the league who are in the mix for this unfortunate award this season:
"So right now there's a little bit of a race going on, couple of young superstars are in that"
He quickly realized what he was doing and tried to cut the topic short of naming any of the player's in question, yet he was pressured by his co-hosts and continued:
"Well, Bedard," admitted Bieksa. "I don't want to but I will say it, but hopefully he doesn't win it."
Although Bieksa's intentions didn't seem to be malicious, this is definitely a hard pill to swallow for the 19-year old.
The fact the young-forward has already demolished historic records, and is nearing one of the worst awards of the year, just goes to show what kind of position the Chicago Blackhawks are currently in.
