The Chicago Blackhawks are playing strong hockey now, but top line forward Tyler Bertuzzi could be forced to miss the next game with an injury per head coach Jeff Blashill.

The Chicago Blackhawks have been playing strong hockey lately, but as they get ready to play the Los Angeles Kings at United Center tomorrow, they could be without one of their most important forwards.
Per a new report from head coach Jeff Blashill, forward Tyler Beruzzi wasn't able to practice today and is now considered day to day, and his status for tomorrow against the Kings isn't a sure thing.
Chicago head coach Jeff Blashill said Tyler Bertuzzi is day to day and his status for Sunday's game is to be determined. #Blackhawks
The Blackhawks skated with the following line combinations in practice as reported by team analyst Charlie Roumeliotis:
Mikheyev-Bedard-Burakovsky
Teravainen-Nazar-Donato
Dach-Greene-Dickinson
Slaggert-Foligno-Lafferty

Vlasic-Rinzel
Grzelcyk-Murphy
Kaiser-Crevier
Levshunov

So far this year in his 2nd season with the Blackhawks, Bertuzzi has 6 points (2G, 4A) in 8 games played.

Tyler Bertuzzi is playing with his 4th Original 6 NHL team

Bertuzzi, who is the nephew of former NHL forward Todd Bertuzzi, started his NHL career with the former divisional foe of the Blackhawks, the Detroit Red Wings.
But he was traded to the Boston Bruins at the 2023 Trade Deadline, and he and the Bruins would be stunned in the ECQF by the Florida Panthers.
Bertuzzi then signed a 1 year contract to join the Toronto Maple Leafs for 2023-24, but he and the Leafs would be knocked out in the 1st round against the Bruins.
He decided to play with his 4th Original 6 team when he signed a 4 year deal with the Blackhawks in 2024.
