Blackhawks' Connor Bedard Ejected After Being Jumped by Four Vancouver Canucks
The NHL officials seem to be having a fun time with Blackhawks star Connor Bedard with poor treatment as of late. He headed into Thursday's game against the Sharks with zero misconduct penalties in his entire career, and just three days later the rookie finds himself with two.
Thankfully, a professional lip reader
revealed what Bedard really said, and it turned out to be basic chirping, nothing extreme enough to earn a 10-minute misconduct.
Bedard's 10-minute misconduct against the Canucks
In a 6-2 loss against the Canucks Saturday, things got quite heated after Blackhawks forward
Jason Dickinson hit opponent
Filip Chytil, and no penalty was called.
The Canucks forward was forced to leave the game.
After the hit, the Canucks decided to target Connor Bedard to get payback, in a very blunt way.
The entire family of the former first-overall draft pick was in attendance to witness his second game misconduct in two games.
This certainly now raises questions about the NHL's potential mistreatment of Bedard.
It's been quite the frustrating season for the Blackhawks, now dropping to a record of 20-37-9.
