New footage has surfaced on what lead to Connor Bedard's 10-minute misconduct penalty against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, and it appears that the 19-year old Chicago Blackhawk was choked
The NHL has been under scrutiny for the past two days for 'mistreatment' of Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard.
A lip reader revealed
what Bedard actually said, and it certainly was not enough for a 10-minute misconduct penalty, let alone a 2-minute minor.
Refs deliver 10-minute misconduct to Bedard again
Fast forward a very short duration of two days against the Vancouver Canucks and Bedard was once handed a 10-minute misconduct penalty again, this time it's much worse.
Bedard appeared to be hounded by multiple Vancouver Canucks for zero reason, but taking a closer look things are much worse.
A fan's perspective was caught on video, and it showed that Bedard was not only swarmed by his opponents, but choked by one as well.

The NHL's allegations of not protecting their star players are further confirmed with videos like this, as no disciplinary action is expected to be dished out.
