The hockey world is mourning the saddened loss of longtime league administrator Steve Spiros
And now, we sadly have found out the passing of a longtime league director Steve Spiros, who has spent 17 years managing and keeping the life of the St. Louis hockey North America going.
A leader of growing the game, he lead the St. Louis Stealth seventeen out of nineteen seasons of their existence.
The Stealth are apart of the HNAL (Hockey North America League) and are on an impressive seven-game winning streak, and are in hopes to keep the ball rolling in light of the tragic news.
It is with a heavy heart that The Stealth share news of the passing our league administrator, Steve Spiros. Steve has been in charge of the St. Louis chapter of Hockey North America for 17 of the 19 seasons the Stealth have existed.
We send our condolences to his family.
He was a good person and a steady hand doing a thankless job, and he truly cared about our league and the players in it. He battled through his own health issues to continue playing the game he loved right up to the last days of his life. He will be missed.
Throughout this difficult moment we would like to send our heartfelt condolences, as well as our thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and those affected by this tragedy.
Rest in Peace, Steve Spiros.
