Connor Bedard's ten-minute misconduct was detailed by Jomboy Media, and it's pretty sad how it went down, we now know exactly what Connor Bedard said on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks.

NHL referees are on a power trip, and one of them exercised his own against 19-year Connor Bedard, who was a 1st-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft..
He's in his sophomore season with the Hawks and on his way to eclipsing last season's production.
However, in last night's game against the San Jose Sharks we may have to call it a mulligan, as young Bedard received a ten-minute penalty from NHL referee Chris Rooney.
The interaction was detailed by JomBoy Media, a famous YouTube channel that gives us his interpretation of how interactions in sports settings play out. He spent five minutes detailing how Bedard got his ten-minute misconduct.
Hint, it was Bedard advocating for himself after a missed call on the ice!
He was given a penalty for "abuse of officials" which sounds ridiculous after the zebras missed Mario Ferraro's tripping of Bedard before the play ended.

What Bedard really said

The pro lip reader revealed Bedard looked at the referee:
Bedard: 'Come on that's a trip', then the ref proceeded to say something back to Bedard, where the rookie responded by saying 'alright buddy' as he skated away.
Bedard received the first 10-minute game misconduct of his career in the third period of Thursday's 4-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks for "abuse of officials."

Bedard didn't expect the penalty after asking about the trip and would receive his first major penalty during his career.
Congrats on your newly acquired PIMs, Bedsy.
Bedard had a brief conversation with referee Chirs Rooney while on the bench before he was assessed the misconduct
Bedard's first meeting with Macklin Celebrini didn't go as planned, as the Sharks thumped the Hawks 4-2, while the 2023 1st overall pick got to simmer in the penalty box for the last ten minutes of the match.
Celebrini is now 1-0 in their meetings this season, and Chris Rooney helped.
This season he's scored 52 points (17 goals, 35 assists) with the Blackhawks who are 20-36-9 and 8th in the Central Division.
Note to self, don't ask NHL referee Chris Rooney to call penalties on Mario Ferraro if he trips me.
