The Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche faced on in a dynamic match, that according to fans had an ending that the referees helped engineer, with the Leafs' 2-1 victory over the Avs.
Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs are destined to make it to the NHL playoffs.
That is whether they like it or not according to some NHL fans.
As they were not shy about sharing their dislike of the NHL zebras who they believe once again have influenced the outcome of another game.
Honestly, seeing the play in action which led to a Maple Leafs goal, it's hard to side with the NHL or the referees.
Given how lawless the current NHL situation is on the ice, it's difficult to trust them let alone believe they're calling the game to the best of their abilities.
Fans on "X" let them know how incompetent they were and weren't shy about their feelings, allegations that the game was rigged now surface.
If it was anyone else who dove onto the puck, the play would be dead but for an NHL referee! All good here!
The play would presume after the NHL referee dove onto the puck and would lead to a short-handed
Steven Lorentz goal on the Avalance putting the Maple Leafs up 2-1 over Colorado.
Thus ending the Avalanche's current streak of 8-0-1, while giving the Leafs their second win in a row after an ugly stretch of 1-4-1 in their last six.
Could the favoritism in the NHL be more blatant at the moment?
The Maple Leafs are chasing the top spot in the Atlantic, and it seems like if this is how games are called, they'll get it.
