With news of Alex Ovechkin being eight goals away from the NHL's All-Time Goals Scored record owned by Wayne Gretzky at the moment the camera's eye has shifted from the deadline to Ovi.
It's been reported by Sportsnet that The Great One, Wayne Gretzky will be traveling from game to game.
Gary Bettman will be traveling in concert with Gretzky as well.
"Alex Ovechkin's pursuit of the NHL's all-time goal-scoring record is a major milestone not just for hockey, but across the entire sports world," Jon Weinstein, the league's chief communications officer, said in a statement.
