Winnipeg's Star Player Wants To Be Traded: NHL Insider Frank Seravali Reports

It was a disappointing year for the Winnipeg Jets. After feeling like they had all the right pieces on paper to be a playoff team on paper the Jets missed the Playoffs.
Since then we have been hearing about players wanting out of Winnipeg including
Mark Scheifele, Pierre Luc-Dobois and now add Jets Captain Blake Wheeler to that list.
According to Frank Seravali Blake Wheeler is looking to get traded Jets are willing to trade Wheeler but want a package in return.
Wheeler has two years left on his contract with an annual salary-cap hit of $8.25 million. His full no-movement clause reverted to a five-team trade list on July 1st.
In 65 games Wheeler had 17 goals and 43 assists -15 rating Wheeler is 35 Seravali believes even at his age he believes there will be plenty of interest for Wheeler.
