There is a new trade update on Chicago Blackhawks forward Lukas Reichel from analyst David Pagnotta, as he continues to be involved in trade rumours.
There is still
plenty of smoke surrounding Chicago Blackhawks forward Lukas Reichel, who is playing in the last year of his current deal and can become an RFA next summer.
So far this year, Reichel has 3 points (2G, 1A) in just 2 games, but his name continues to pop up in trade rumours.
Per a new report from NHL analyst David Pagnotta, Reichel is getting frustrated over the lack of progress on a trade but also points out that other NHL teams aren't willing to pay a major price for him.
David Pagnotta: Re Lukas Reichel: Best case scenario it works out, he stays; but there is frustration from the player; there has been a lot of interest in this player...but nobody's willing to pay a premium - Daily Faceoff Live (10/16)
Reichel was taken with the 17th overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. A team he's been linked to in trade rumours is the Vancouver Canucks, who had many postseason battles against the Blackhawks years ago.
There was even a
recent trade proposal from Heavy.com that sees Reichel get moved from the Blackhawks to the Canucks:

Blackhawks Get:
2027 Third-Round Pick
