He's found himself playing for the New York Rangers forthe 2024-25 season and this year with the Detroit Red Wings.
In the last 4 games with the Red Wings, he's scored 5 points (2-3), which included a 3-point night against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 11th.
He also carried the Red Wings to a dominant 4-1 win against the defending Stanley Cup Champions on Wednesday.
He and his teammates, the Red Wings, have a purpose to play for this season: "Progress" is the goal, according to Steve Yzerman.
