The Chicago Blackhawks are in somewhat of a rebuild, and the trades of DeBrincat, and Dach reflect that, should anybody have suspicions, otherwise.
That said, College and University free agents can be intriguing, as they can be signed at league-minimum, should their training camps impress team management.
Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson has many options, but according to Michael De Rosa, at The Hockey Writers, there are three players that could be an option to bring in on a pto.
Brian Boyle, Kris Russell, and Tyler Ennis are the three pto options cited by De Rosa. Each of the three provide veteran leadership and could push the pace at training camp and bring up the competitiveness, in battling for open roster spots.
