Colorado Avalanche Player Had to Attend The Cup Parade on a Wheelchair due to Nasty Injury
Forbes magazine has recently released a list of the top 10 toughest sports voted by sports fans worldwide, and hockey ranks second behind boxing a sport where punches are exchanged every second.
It really shows how tough hockey is as well do the NHL playoffs, while players play through multiple weeks with injuries that they should be resting for months.
One of those players being Valeri Nichuskin who revealed after they won the cup that he played through a broken foot!! Photos were quite unbelievable..
The Colorado Avalanche forward was scooted out of the arena after the Avalanches cup game on a dolly, a cart used to carry equipment but instead it carried the 6 foot 4 214 pound beast, Nichuskin.
He got the same special treatment for the Avalanches cup parade, as he deserves! Nichuskin was pushed around in a wheelchair throughout the event.
