Blackhawks fans left shocked after attendance numbers revealed
The Chicago Blackhawks have had quite the underwhelming season and fans were feeling blue as well, but that did not stop Chicago Blackhawks Nation from supporting their favourite team, from TV to in-person the fans showed their true love.
The Blackhawks sold 758,082 tickets to their 41 home games this season, equating to an average attendance of 18,490 — 93.8% of capacity (highly impressive).
They'll finish 5th in the NHL in attendance this season, ending their streak of 12 straight attendance titles.
With their last recent home game, they sold out nearly every possible seat aside from 0.3%. (Toews' last home game as a Blackhawk)
