BREAKING: Blackhawks Place Top Line Player on The Trade Block
With 40 points last year, Andreas Athanasiou resurrected his career, becoming one of the Blackhawks' most successful forwards.
Right now, his value is at its highest and he could be traded for assets to continue the rebuild. He will be needed by teams across the league, but here are two we think he can land.
2 potential landing spots for Athanasiou
As they're not the same team as in 2018, the Washington Capitals need improvement at the forward position. Having him on the team's power play could solve another issue and solve their middle-six problems.
Additionally, he might be able to find a new home in Arizona, where the Coyotes seem to be improving. As a 3rd line depth scorer, he could prove to be an excellent rental option for the team.
