Pending free agent sends a blunt message to the Chicago Blackhawks ahead of July 1st

Due to the unfortunate finale of the Chicago Blackhawks' 2024/25 NHL season, the organization is desperate of an extreme impactful summer, especially if this Original Six franchise hopes to make postseason contention in the near future.

And whilst the Chicago Blackhawks' general manager, Kyle Davidson, and the rest of the organization gear up for a very important offseason, new insight has unfolded regarding a top pending UFA (Unrestricted Free Agent).

The Florida Panthers' top pending UFA, Sam Bennett, has sent a clear message to the Chicago Blackhawks and the rest of the National Hockey League ahead of this year's free agency.

Plenty of organization's within the National Hockey League have shown immense interest of Bennett, due to the fact this forward is not only a great addition to any team if need of strength offensively, but also because his asking price is expected to be very affordable.

That being said, this 28-year old forward has the knowledge, experience and skill to offer the Chicago Blackhawks an immense amount of help offensively, and at a low asking price.

Yet Bennett's most recent announcement has revealed that he has no intention on moving out of Florida.

Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, it was a long shot from the beginning that Chicago would be capable of landing this forward.

However, now that Bennett's plans are set in stone, Davidson and the rest of the Blackhawks' front office can turn their attention to other impactful free-agents on the market this offseason.
