In the latest round of roster cuts in the NHL today, 4 former members of the Chicago Blackhawks found themselves being placed on the waiver wire, and are now free to be claimed over the next 24 hours.
The latest round of roster cuts have arrived in the NHL, and multiple players have found themselves being placed
on the waiver wire.
They will now have 24 hours to be claimed by any of the other 31 clubs separate from their own, or otherwise be sent down to the AHL.
And among the players waived included 4 former members of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Multiple ex-Blackhawks players are now on waivers.
Entwistle, waived by Florida, was taken with the 69th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Arizona Coyotes, and would later play a handful of years with the Blackhawks.
Englund, waived by the Predators, was taken with the 40th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators. He only played 11 games in a Blackhawks sweater.
Mitchell, waived by the Red Wings, was taken with the 57th overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
And Katchouk, waived by the Penguins and taken by the Tampa Bay Lightning with the 44th pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, played parts of 3 years with the Blackhawks.
