Former Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart appears very close to deciding on where he'll be playing next and it could become official as soon as the weekend per analyst Chris Johnston.
It's looking more like the choice for former Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart is being narrowed down to just a couple of teams.
He decided that he wanted to move on from the Flyers and have a fresh start elsewhere, as confirmed by Philadelphia GM Danny Briere.
Per NHL analyst Chris Johnston, Hart's decision could be coming as soon as this weekend.

Johnston also said:
He will start to rule out some of those remaining teams, obviously pick where he's going, and the key part of the timing here is that he can essentially agree to terms next week, next Wednesday, October 1st, and the contract can be registered October 15th, so he's getting very close to determining where he goes next.
Hart has been tied to both the Golden Knights and Hurricanes
Hart, who won't play again for the Flyers, has been tied to both the Vegas Golden Knights and Carolina Hurricanes.
The Golden Knights would prefer a more experienced backup to Adin Hill than Akira Schmid after they didn't re-sign Ilya Samsonov.
The Hurricanes do have Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov, but Andersen's durability hasn't been strong in recent years, and Kochetkov's stats weren't the best last year.
It may be controversial, but Hart is likely going to be signed by an NHL team soon and will then be eligible to begin playing in December.
