The Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard has entered his second NHL season this year, it has been an unbelievably disappointing year for the organization as well as the young star to say the least, and reporters have just spoken up about several rumours that have been flying around Windy City.

The Blackhawks are currently sitting 31st in the league, with just two more wins than the last place San Jose Sharks, which has caused many speculation around the 19-year old Connor Bedard's commitment and longevity in the organization.
In a recent Blackhawks Breakaway Podcast, Pat Boyle and Charlie ran a discussion regarding Bedard, and began to dismiss some rumours regarding his departure from Chicago.

Bedard trade rumors addressed

Pay Boyle of the Blackhawks Breakaway Podcast revealed he is still very young and has already handled high expectations:
"They're going to look back at these times and laugh, and I think that's again, and we have to put it in perspective," Boyle said. "He is 19, and he's done a lot at a very young age, and a lot has been expected and asked of him, and he's delivered quite a bit so far."

Roumeliotis began to addresss the rumours and speculation regarding Bedard possibly requesting a trade if the Blackhawks don't turn around for the better soon:
"I see, sometimes you see the fans, like hockey fans are saying, 'Oh, if the Hawks keep losing, Connor Bedard is going to request a trade or whatever.' And they get so flippant with that," Roumeliotis said. "But then you hear what Connor saying, like, I love this city. I love being a part of this team, the logo, whatever.

"And then he says, you know, when we're winning, where it's going to be something that we look back on and laugh. So, like that. You know, hopefully, that squashed all of the talk, because it just seems like outside noise at this point."

Take a look:
We can expect Connor Bedard to stay in Chicago for a while, but one thing that is uncertain, is whether or not the organization has what it takes to complete their desired re-build.
