The Chicago Blackhawks have officially been eliminated from contention for the NHL postseason following their 3-1 loss against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday March 20, and after their loss, their key-forward, Connor Bedard, addressed his relationship with the teams general manager, Kyle Davidson.

At 20-40-9, Chicago sits in the second-worst record in the NHL, just above the San Jose Sharks, and Bedard's response to the teams current position reveals how he feels of the Blackhawks' GM.
Throughout the disastrous season the Chicago Blackhawks endured in Connor Bedard's second season with the organization, many have signalled to fire the team's general manager, Kyle Davidson, and per Tracey Myers of NHL.com, Bedard is seemingly not taking him seriously either.
«Yeah, we have a good relationship,» Bedard said of Davidson. «It's cool. He's a younger GM (36) and we're a younger team. We have a lot of guys coming in basically the same time as him. He's really easy to talk to and I think we're all trying to grow together and take those next steps, and having that relationship is important.»

Connor Bedard's impression of Kyle Davidson is like no other, as a general manager of such an important franchise, you'd expect the 19-year old to take his manager and the team a little more seriously.
Bedard just recently went on a cold streak in March, with just three points in eight games, that included two straight games of 10-minute misconduct penalties. This could be brushed off by a third or fourth-liner, however, for being a first-round pick in the 2023 draft, you'd expect more backlash from his management following such a brutal streak.
Yet the organization's head coach, Ander Sorensen, seemingly disregarded Connor Bedard's actions and began to praise his ambition.
" Overall, I think he's very mature for being 19, especially with the amount of spotlight that's on him constantly. I'm really impressed with how he handles it."
Although Connor Bedard is accountable for ambition and talent, he is in dire need of management that is capable of addressing his accomplishments and his faults.
As of now, the 19-year old lacks talented and knowledgeable management which is unfortunately taking a toll on his overall success and growth.
We can hope for an addition to the team on let alone the roster, but the bench.
