Connor Bedard breaks silence on his future in Chicago following wild trade rumours
New update on the Blackhawks' Connor Bedard rumours; the key-player has just broke his silence following wild trade rumours in Chicago.
The
Chicago Blackhawks' superstar,
Connor Bedard, has been a hot topic in the NHL community as of late. With continuous speculation and spin suggesting he is unhappy and that the Blackhawks are in desperate need of giving him a helping hand, he has finally revealed his own personal opinion regarding where he stands with Chicago.
Although this organization is in dire need of prioritizing some necessary adjustments over the span of this off-season, which includes helping Bedard's overall success, the 19-year old has finally revealed his insight on being a Hawk and where his heart stands.
Before Thursday's game against the Kings, the CHSN aired a one-on-one interview with Connor Bedard and Tony Granato.
In this interview, Granato assesses and dissects Bedard's perspective on many topics; including the assumed and consistent speculations of how unhappy he is in Chicago.
That is when the forward revealed he loves playing in the city of Chicago:
«I love playing here. I love being in this city.»
Despite the concern that Bedard may be telling fans what they want to hear, the key-forward was seemingly very genuine when he expressed his love for his team.
The video is a whopping 21-minutes long, but it is absolutely worth your time.
Now that Bedard has revealed and expressed that these trade speculations and rumours can stop, the Blackhawks have many other priorities to fixate on this summer.
1. A new and knowledgeable head coach, which they are seemingly on the rise of completing.
2. Ensuring Connor Bedard receives the help he is in desperate need of.
With these rumours now settled, the 2025/26 NHL season should be a memorable one for the Chicago Blackhawks who will have their key-forward by their side.
