The Chicago Blackhawks newest logo and jersey for their centennial season has leaked on social media

We won't have to wait long for the Blackhawks to drop the newest logo for their 100th birthday.

According to the Blackhawks website today, the team has unveiled its Centennial Celebration logo.

The Blackhawks began as an original-six hockey team in the NHL, and like their original-six brethren (the Detroit Red Wings), they'll be celebrating 100 years of operations in the league.

The team will undoubtedly do more than drop an announcement, as we've seen below:

The Boston Bruins had their centennial anniversary in the NHL arrive during the 2023-24 season, which saw them debut special jerseys in addition to a special logo. Which should be of no surprise to us, as the Blackhawks will celebrate with new merchandise.

Ahead of the 2025-26 season, the social media team has already begun the switch over from the current uniform and logo we've seen on a regular basis to the "new" logo which will have a gold highlight to the Blackhawks logo itself:

A new uniform is to follow, we're excited to see what the design team can come up with, as the Blackhawks' uniform history is rich and with plenty of designs to pull from.

We should expect to learn more as we get closer and closer to the NHL draft this year.

The Blackhawks will be picking 3rd overall at the draft this season, in addition to eight other picks in 2025.

We could see the newest Blackhawks wear the new jersey design when they're drafted and walk across the stage to shake Gary Bettman's hand.
