A prominent group of 22 players have been placed on NHL waivers on October 2, including a former Chicago Blackhawk, and former 9th overall pick Vitali Kravtsov.
As we count down the four days remaining before the start of the NHL regular season, we're seeing plenty of action on the waiver wire.

Within the group of 22 players placed on waivers, Kravtsov stands out as a former 9th overall pick who has yet to reach his full potential.
Another name who may be familiar to Blackhawks fans is Riley Stillman, who played for Chicago from 2021 to 2023.
A former 11th overall pick amongst October 1st's group made it through waivers, but goaltender who went undrafted, Pheonix Copley, has been claimed by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
