The former Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane revealed he has one more thing on his bucket list before retiring from professional hockey.

Patrick Kane marked generations of hockey fans in Chicago, playing a massive role in bringing success to the team and the city between 2007 and 2023.
He won three Stanley Cups with the Hawks, scored over 1,200 points in 16 regular seasons, and 132 playoff points during his time in Chicago.
He also earned prestigious individual awards over his career, such as the Calder Memorial, Art Ross, Conn Smythe, Hart Memorial, and Ted Lindsay Award Trophies.
On the international scene, he won many medals with Team USA. But even after representing the States eight times, the most important honor still eludes him.

Patrick Kane Opens Up On The Last Thing On His Bucket List

Kane won a gold in 2006 with the U-18 team, a bronze in 2007 at the WJC, a bronze at the 2018 WC, and a silver at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
He never won a gold medal at the Olympics, and he wants to capitalize on what could be the last opportunity of his career to do so.
In an interview ahead of Team USA's Orientation Camp for the 2026 Olympic Games, Kane revealed that he wants to win a gold medal at all costs:
"The one thing that's kind of missing is a gold in best-on-best, right? It would be fun to have that opportunity."

"Yeah, that's all it is, is gold, and trying to get over the hump of Canada. They've won the last two Olympics in best-on-best and the last two World Cups in best-on-best. Yeah, that's what it's all about, to win the gold."
With all the depth on the team, it remains to be seen if Kane earns a spot on the roster.
The upcoming season will be crucial for him. At 36 years old, he can still bring a lot to the team, but not the same impact he had in his younger days.
