Former Chicago Blackhawks forward and future Hall of Famer Patrick Kane will join the American squad in the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan, as he's been invited to their orientation camp.
Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane was among the multiple NHL players invited to the American Orientation Camp in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
Kane joins the following full list of players, which also includes Blackhawks defenseman Alex Vlasic and forward Frank Nazar:
The American Orientation Camp will take place from August 26 through 27 in Plymouth, Michigan, about 20 minutes outside of downtown Detroit.
Patrick Kane helped the Americans to a silver medal in 2010 and 2014
Kane was included in the American roster for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010 along with the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.
Both occasions saw Team USA defeated by Canada, which included Kane's Blackhawks teammates Patrick Sharp, Duncan Keith, and Jonathan Toews.
Kane scored the dramatic GTG late in regulation of the gold medal game against Canada in 2010, which set the stage for Sidney Crosby's historic gold medal GWG later in OT.
