Connor Bedard's Top 5 Plays From the 2024-2025 Season
Here are the top five plays of Connor Bedard's 2024-2025 against opponents like the Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning, who are victims of the generational talent in the clips below.
The 2024-2025 season is over for the
Chicago Blackhawks, with an 8th place finish in the Central Division, and a 25-46-11 record to the end of the year.
Under Interim Coach Anders Sorensen,
Bedard saw an early jolt to his play, thanks to his focus on getting Bedard the puck, and these plays below show how lethal he can be when he's "on".
Bedard finished his 82-game season with the Blackhawks scoring 67 points (23 goals, 44 assists).
Dallas Stars & Tampa Bay Lightning
Included in these highlights was the power-play goal against the Dallas Stars, which broke his 12-game scoring drought. The goal would come at 19:19 in the 2nd period during the game on November 27th, 2024 against the cup-contending Stars.
Bedard would find a perfect spot in the circle to shoot while using the Stars' defenseman as a screen to put the team up 3-0.
The next exciting highlight saw Bedard take a shot from the side, top shelf against Tampa Bay Lightning goalie
Jonas Johansson. The shot looked impossible given the angle Bedard took it from. The goal was scored at 9:41 in the 2nd period, for another Bedard power-play goal.
Bedard's one-timer from Ovi's office against the Nashville Predators was a beauty of a shot that gave the Blackhawks a 3-1 lead over the Preds, at 14:14 in the 2nd-period. We're seeing a trend with these power-play goals and Bedard aren't we?
Another one of Bedard's stellar goals came against the Ottawa Senators and
Anton Forsberg. Bedard would again use the defending man as a screen, as he took a quick shot from the circle at 18:33 in the 1st-period. This would put the Blackhawks up 1-0 over the Senators and
Brady Tkachuk.
The Blackhawks wouldn't let their foot off the gas in the 2nd as Bedard would take advantage of the power-play, on the left side of the ice in the circle to score another on Anton Forsberg to put them ahead 3-2 against the Senators.
The last highlight reel goal we'd get from CHSN and Bedard was his masterful goal against the Utah Hockey Club, where he'd skate around Utah's net to try and open up the ice and would take take a shot from the slot in between two of Utah's defenders to put a stake in Utah HC's over time hopes.
