Despite the Chicago Blackhawks' brutal year thus far into NHL 2024/25 season, Connor Bedard's optimism for the future of the organization's current prospects has overcome the unfortunate news, as their fate to be absent from this year's post-season playoffs has been confirmed.

Although the Blackhawks have unfortunately hit the point where there is no turning point for a comeback this season, their key-forward, Connor Bedard, continues to be confident of the organization's future.

Bedard has revealed he is encouraged by the impact of the teams youth movement

Per NHL.com's Tracey Myers, the 19-year old continues to be positive for the organization's future:
"Yeah, big time. You're seeing guys come up and make a difference,»

One specific player who has caught Bedard's attention is a blue-liner, who made his NHL debut earlier this month after being drafted second overall in the 2023/24 NHL season, Artyom Levshunov.
Connor Bedard revealed:
"He comes up, and he looks great," Bedard said. "You can see why he is projected to be what he is, and that's exciting. He makes that pass, and you can see his hockey IQ. You can definitely see the future of him being a No. 1 guy."

Despite the Blackhawks' current NHL standings and the underwhelming year they've undergone this season, they have in-fact built one of the league's deepest prospect pool in recent years and continue to stay on track to draft high yet again.
Considering their currently ranked 31st in the league with only 12 games to go, they are on track to acquire a top-rounder and own the Toronto Maple Leafs' 2025 first-rounder.
Although this re-building organization has yet to achieve their desired results throughout the 2024/25 NHL season, their future is bright and fans can expect much more exciting years on the rise for this young but driven team.
