The Chicago Blackhawks have experienced some turnover in the roster after the March trade deadline, and Connor Bedard gives us a perspective of the team's roster with ten games left in the season.

With ten games left in the season for Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, no one expected the team to look like they do now.
Multiple veterans traded, including Seth Jones, Petr Mrazek, and Craig Smith. With the latest developments in March, the team has gotten younger, with injuries to Alec Martinez, Jason Dickinson, Colton Dach, and Connor Murphy out of the lineup.
With a multitude of injuries shaping the look of the roster, the Blackhawks have had to shift priorities and have called up defenseman Kevin Korchinski from Rockford, while the Hawks have enabled the youth movement in Chicago.
Connor Bedard was asked about the recent moves, and his response gave us a great perspective into his thoughts on the future of the team.
«It's been fun,» Bedard said. «It changed a lot throughout the year. It's been good to see the young guys come up & see the impact they're able to make right away. It's fun being with guys your own age.»

His thoughts on Kevin Korchinski mirror our own ironically:
Per CHGO Blackhawks, Bedard said the team is excited for Korchinski to play.

«Everyone's happy to see him and have him here. We're all excited for it,» Bedard said.

Now that the 7th overall pick in 2022 is ready to lace up the skates for the big club, can the Blackhawks find a way to gain some victories, and not just the moral kind, with ten games left?
With a youth movement up and coming, the roster should experience growing pains, it's natural as the team learns to gel together.
But as veteran placeholders are moved out, and the actual Blackhawks team, which should be contending in 3-5 years, trickles in, we should be as excited as Bedard is about it.
This season may be a wash, but in the long term, with the signing of Oliver Moore and Sam Rinzel, there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
