The Chicago Blackhawks are busy working their phones on this early Saturday morning with the announcement of their second-entry level signing of the day, and this time it's Sam Rinzel out of the University of Minnesota.

A huge announcement by Scott Powers, a Blackhawks team reporter for the NY Times, confirmed that the organization has signed Oliver Moore to his three-year entry level deal following his exit from the University of Minnesota, early this morning. But there's more?
What's one without the other? Oliver Moore's teammate, Sam Rinzel, who was selected 25th overall by the Blackhawks in the 2022 NHL entry draft has also inked his three-year ELC with the organization.
Rinzel comes in after winning defenseman of the year in a red hot season, which included 10 goals and 22 assists with the University of Minnesota.
Rinzel's resume is quite impressive for a 20-year old defenseman:
WJAC-19 Champion
2023-2024
NCAA (B1G) All-Rookie Team
NCAA (B1G) Second All-Star Team
U20 WJC Gold Medal

He is expected to join one of the youngest defensive pairings in the NHL alongside Artyom Levshunov, Kevin Korchinski, Wyatt Kaiser, Alex Vlasic and Ethan Del Mastro.
According to a signing breakdown by PuckPedia, Rinzel will earn $1.363M per season.
