Blackhawks Teuvo Teravainen Reaches All-Time Career Low At 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament

The Chicago Blackhawks have one active player representing his country in Teuvo Teraveinen, and today his career hit an all-time low.
Today, the Four Nations Face-Off tournament has continued, as the Blackhawks forward Teuvo Tervainan suited up for Finland today.
We'd thought he'd be a major factor in the lineup for a Finnish team that is full of stars in the ranks.
Yet, Teravainen has turned out to be a disappointmen for Finland, as today he only saw 6:23 TOI today.
Tervainen has found himself in a situation like he's been in Chicago this season. Utilized as a bottom-six winger for the Finnish team, which has a loaded top-six with some of the best NHLers with teams ranging from the Panthers to the Stars to give you an idea.
His performance today, was disappointing, as he was on the ice for a goal-against with a -1, 1 shot on goal, 10 shifts, and only 0:43 PP TOI.
A statline you'd typically see for someone who is going through the motions, or struggling in the lineup.
His issues have been glaring all year, as he's been inconsistent for the Blackhawks and it has trickled into international play this year.
This is quite sad, compared to the 2018 season which saw him participate in the IIHF World Championships and go on a tear.
He'd score 14 points (5 G, 9 A) in 8 games with Finland, and in the NHL score a total of 65 points that season.
Now with the Blackhawks', he's failed to find the spark that the team needs to be a competitive NHL team.
Will this be the end of Tervainen's consideration for the next IIHF championships if he can't contribute to a Finnish win over Sweden?
