Blackhawks eyeing down one specific prospect in 2025 NHL draft

The Chicago Blackhawks will have another shot at a lottery pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, ranked 31st in the NHL and they could take Michael Misa with the pick.
CHL prospect Michael Misa has earned notoriety as one of the top players in the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft class.
Like Connor Bedard before him, he's been classified as a generational talent and could be another huge building block for the team.
This season he's played for the CHL's Saginaw Spirit and has gone on a tear this year, scoring 100 points (44 G, 56 A) in 48 games with the Spirit.
He'd follow his 100-point tally with a hat-trick soon after, giving him 47 goals scored this year.
GM Kyle Davidson could end up targeting him, with the Blackhawks' top draft pick in 2025, should they win a lottery pick.

This is the third year Misa has suited up for the Spirit, and each year his production has increased significantly.
In the last two seasons in the CHL, he's scored 29 goals, and 75 points, and 22 goals and 56 points.
What sets Misa apart from the pack aside from his scoring capabilities are his high hockey IQ, shooting, and playmaking.
However, much like an offensive weapon like the Blackhawks have in Bedard, he will have to develop his two-way game whether at the NHL or AHL level if the team does decide to use a draft pick on him.
If the Hawks don't spend large at the trade deadline to find a top-winger to compliment Bedard, they should consider drafting Misa.
With the team's deep blue line filled to the brim with promising prospects, they could use another dynamic winger.
